Position Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled Server/Infrastructure Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing both Windows and Linux environments and will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of our clients' server and network infrastructures.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities * Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows, UNIX, and Linux servers. Perform routine server management tasks including system updates, backup, and recovery operations. * Network Support: Design, implement, and troubleshoot network configurations. Ensure network security through proper firewall configurations and management of DMZs. * Infrastructure Support: Provide support for hardware selection, operating system installation, and configuration of mail systems, antivirus solutions, and centralized tools such as Active Directory and WSUS. * Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM): Monitor system performance and provide proactive management to ensure high availability and performance of critical systems. * Security Management: Implement security measures to protect systems from cyber threats. Maintain and update security protocols and software. * Customer Support: Provide on-site and remote support to clients, resolving technical issues promptly and effectively. Offer expert consultation and technical advice to improve client systems. * Project Management: Participate in infrastructure-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. Ensure successful project delivery from planning to deployment and maintenance.
Required Qualifications * Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing Windows, UNIX, and Linux servers. Experience with network architecture and support. Proficiency with Active Directory, WSUS, and other centralized management tools. Proficiency in Powershell scripting, VMware environments administration and expanding, AWS/Azure, Cloud Services (Veeam,/Tape/Cloud), VPN endpoints, ESXX, * Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a systems administrator role or related IT infrastructure position. * Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent are preferred. * Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with clients and provide clear and effective support and advice. * Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions. * Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other IT professionals and clients.
