Determines and applies the most efficient and cost-effective methods for industrial production. Designs systems that integrate material, equipment, information, and people in overall production processes.' Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Eliminate or reduce waste in production and related processes
  • Responsible for Engineering Projects
  • Equipment Automation
  • Choose machinery and other equipment and arranges these items in the most effective layout in the manufacturing plant.
  • Develops methods that will be used to accomplish all of the tasks involved in production, including devising systems for quality control, distribution, and inventory.
  • Determines the functions and responsibilities of workers and devises and implements evaluation procedures; recommends methods for improving employee efficiency.
  • Evaluates potential for or actual physical harm throughout production processes; redesigns, relocates, or replaces equipment, as necessary.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
  • Injection or Blow Molding experience required.
  • Should have an aptitude for mathematics, physical science, and computer applications.
  • Must have strong background in production systems planning; and manufacturing systems design.
  • 5+ years of project management experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements

  • Will lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
  • 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required
  • Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
  • May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
  • May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards)
