Job Description:
We are actively seeking a qualified and compassionate School Social Worker to join our team in Prince Frederick, MD, for the current school year, with the opportunity to renew annually. This full-time position offers a meaningful role working with elementary school students across two campuses, helping them thrive academically and socially.

Position Details:

• Hours: Full-time
• Start Date: ASAP End of School Year (Renewable Annually)
• Location: Onsite, serving two elementary schools
• Interviews: Conducted via Zoom for convenience

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling services to all students within the designated program, as well as other students in need
• Write and manage IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
• Monitor student progress and document updates
• Perform Medicaid billing and other documentation
• Participate in team meetings to collaborate on student needs
• Connect families with relevant resources and support services

Requirements:

• Valid School Social Worker certification/licensure in Maryland
• Experience with elementary school students preferred
• Strong skills in counseling, IEP writing, and team collaboration
