School Social Worker Opportunity in Prince Frederick, MD

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a committed and qualified School Social Worker to join a supportive district in the Prince Frederick, MD area. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through counseling and support services.

Position Overview:

• Location: Prince Frederick, MD
• Employment Type: Full-time, W-2 contracted position
• Duration: ASAP to the end of the school year
• Work Locations: Two elementary schools

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling services to students
• Write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and participate in team meetings
• Handle Medicaid billing and documentation
• Connect families with community resources

Qualifications:

• Valid School Social Worker License in Maryland
• School-based experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
