We are seeking a Warehouse Storeperson who is comfortable with hand tools, QC and a fast paced environment for our Farmers Branch warehouse. 

Job Description

  • Material Handling
    • Receive, inspect, count, and store incoming materials and supplies
    • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accuracy in stock levels
    • Prepare and package materials for outbound shipments
  • Equipment Operation
    • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
    • Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and containers
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure materials meet quality standards before being processed or shipped
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies
    • Inspect goods received pre and post powder, or fabrication
  • Safety Practices
    • Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures
    • Participate in safety training and maintain a clean work environment
  • Documentation
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and shipments
    • Complete necessary paperwork for material transactions and inventory updates
  • Support Operations
    • Assist with basic fabrication tasks as needed, with or without supervision
Qualifications

  • Physical Requirements
    • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and assist with team lifts with material
    • Standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks
    • Comfort with operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Experience and Skills
    • Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
    • Basic understanding of inventory management systems and counting principals
    • Familiarity with design and fabrication processes
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely
    • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting
    • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
    • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
  • Flexibility and Adaptability
    • Willingness to work varying shifts, including overtime when needed
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment


Additional Information

Salary: $19/hr
