Typically responsible for the development of engineering specifications and original design concepts. May provide detailed technical analysis of equipment. May provide machine process audits and make recommendations to improve line efficiencies through PLIP programs.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform electrical design, technical analysis and/or resolution of engineering problems with consideration of manufacturing feasibility, cost, and operationAssist with design/alteration of electrical equipmentAssist with testing and debugging equipment to isolate defectsPrepare layouts using CAD toolsAssist in evaluation of designs; make engineering changesPrepare basic schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings and bills of material (BOM)Assist in the evaluation of new partsMay assist in supporting manufacturing/assembly teamsManage and maintain product/project filesMaintain project fileOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS: 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering is required.At Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
