Job Title: Hardware Development Engineer
Job Description
Join a small design and development team creating new products from schematic, PCB layout, prototype development, to product transition to production. This group creates sensors used in cargo containers, trucks, and more to record data consistently.
As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will:
Develop and analyze analog, power, and digital circuits including sensors, electromechanical power switches, and AC/DC, linear and switching power supplies, 12-24 bits ADCs, displays, programmable logic, and 8/16/32 bit Micro-controllers/Microprocessors
Create documentation of technical requirements, functional specifications, manufacturing test specifications, qualification test plans, and product change notices
Support validation and manufacturing engineers/technicians in test creation and fixture design
Support manufacturing on new product releases as well as sustain current production products supporting quality improvements, cost reduction, component obsolescence, and failure analysis
Evaluate product returns/failures to determine root cause and corrective actions
Hard Skills
Must have a BS in Electrical Engineering and about 1 year of relevant experience in:
+ PCB design software
+ Bench Debug
+ Circuit Design - Mixed Signal

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a Hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and some days remote.
Work Environment
We offer a work-life balance to our employees, general working hours for this position are: 8:00 am 5:00 pm. Our teams work together to ensure their chosen work schedules are supporting our customers. This position requires 2 days onsite and 3 days from home. The team consists of 11 people.
