Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description
  • Design projects from schematic design through construction with an Engineer
  • Provide necessary support for:
    • Mechanical
    • HVAC
    • Lighting
    • Power
    • Riser diagrams
    • Electrical circuiting
    • Voice/data
    • Security
    • AV
    • Fire alarm systems
  • Check shop drawings and assist during construction
  • Majority of responsibility will be production work leading to individual design responsibilities
Qualifications
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering required
    • Degree must be accredited in the United States
  • Minimum of 3 years of Electrical engineering experience within building systems
    • Automation, manufacturing, and energy experience is not applicable
    • Post-graduate experience does not include internship experience
    • Experience must be within US standards
  • Prior experience must be within building systems
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA70, NFPA72, and Chicago Building Codes
  • Experience in architectural, electrical engineering, and electrical design
  • Full professional proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit is a plus
