Job Description
- Provide comprehensive support to attorneys within the litigation team, from initial case filing through trial and post-trial phases.
- Manage case files, oversee document production, and maintain discovery logs.
- Prepare for depositions and hearings, including creating witness outlines and organizing exhibit documents.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents with attention to detail.
- Conduct legal research, including cite-checking for accuracy in legal briefs.
- Coordinate with litigation support for eDiscovery and document review processes.
- Meet an annual billable hour target and provide reliable, high-quality client service.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ability to work and bill as a paralegal under Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code section 6450.
- Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, with California law knowledge.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel functions.
- Proficient with eDiscovery tools (e.g., iPro) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Skilled with Westlaw and/or Lexis for legal research.
- Strong understanding of California legal procedures, rules, and eDiscovery processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, with attention to ethical standards and confidentiality.
