About the Role: Our client, a top-tier Century City law firm, is on the hunt for a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join their dynamic team. Specializing in business disputes, intellectual property, entertainment, class actions, defamation, and false advertising, this firm is a powerhouse of legal expertise.

Responsibilities of Sr. Litigation Paralegal:

  • Complex Litigation & Trial Support: Dive into the deep end with highly complex cases, supporting trial attorneys with your expert skills.
  • eDiscovery Mastery: Preference for those with strong eDiscovery skills and advanced certifications (CP, CCP, RP, or CEDS). Must know Relativity inside and out.
  • Case Management: Track discovery and trial deadlines, issue subpoenas, manage large volumes of electronic data, and organize incoming client data.
  • Data Management: Proactively manage production data, maintain production logs, and prepare production summaries.
  • Legal Research & Documentation: Perform searches in Relativity, prepare for depositions, export data for exhibits, and load deposition transcripts into Case Notebook.
  • Trial Preparation: Prepare timelines, trial notebooks, exhibit binders, witness lists, and more.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work seamlessly with external vendors and the internal Litigation Support team.
  • Trial: Travel to trial (mostly in California). Attend trial with attorneys.

Qualifications of Sr. Litigation Paralegal:

  • Experience: Minimum of 9 years as a complex litigation paralegal, with experience in mass tort, class action, and multi-district litigation.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of civil litigation and procedural rules for state, federal, and appellate courts.
  • Skills: Strong case management, eDiscovery, and legal research skills. Must have attended trial.
  • Certifications: Advanced certifications preferred (CP, CCP, RP, or CEDS).
  • Passion: A genuine passion for the job and a drive to excel in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Expert in Relativity, DISCO, and other litigation support software.
  • Expert in eDiscovery
  • Able to travel
  • Able to work overtime
