Apply today to embark on this exciting journey!Responsibilities: PLC System Maintenance: Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of programmable logic controllers (PLC) to ensure efficient plant operations.Program Optimization: Modify and update PLC programs to enhance the performance and reliability of machinery.Collaborative System Development: Partner with equipment suppliers, maintenance teams, and production personnel to design and implement automated control systems that align with operational needs.System Integration: Lead efforts to upgrade and integrate new control technologies, transitioning legacy systems to modern platforms where necessary.Troubleshooting Automation: Develop and implement diagnostic tools and alarms to simplify future troubleshooting and system reliability.Data Management & Security: Establish and enforce protocols for system access, data backups, and disaster recovery procedures.Technical Expertise: Work with a range of control systems, including motion control, VFDs, communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Devicenet, RS-232, RS-485), and instrumentation signals (HART, 4-20mA, 0-10V).IT Coordination: Collaborate with IT teams to ensure networked systems are properly maintained and updated.Safety & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date safety certifications, including Lockout/Tagout, CPR, First Aid, and Confined Space Entry, and ensure compliance with industry safety and environmental standards.
