Position Overview:
Join a highly regarded commercial real estate firm in downtown Miami as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal. In this role, you will provide vital support to attorneys throughout all stages of complex real estate transactions, from contract negotiations to post-closing procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing documents from contract initiation to closing.
- Conduct detailed due diligence, such as reviewing titles, surveys, drafting title objection letters, reviewing leases, and performing municipal lien, UCC, judgment, litigation, and lien searches.
- Prepare organizational documents and support entity formation for commercial deals.
- Draft and manage closing checklists, timelines, title commitments, closing statements, affidavits, and entity authorizations.
- Coordinate and maintain closing binders and transaction documentation for both local and national deals.
- Provide general paralegal assistance as needed to support the legal team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with demonstrated expertise in the field.
- Bachelors degree and Paralegal Certification preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling complex legal documents.
- Excellent communication skills for maintaining effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based software.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) with flexibility for overtime as required.
