Litigation Paralegal

Our client is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join their Columbus, Ohio office, focusing on business and regulatory disputes, with occasional involvement in real estate and corporate matters. The role includes organizing and managing case files, drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories, and filing them according to judicial procedures.
Responsibilities also encompass researching statutes, regulations, and case law, providing written analyses to attorneys, and assisting with trial preparations by preparing exhibits, witness lists, and coordinating court logistics. The paralegal will handle scheduling of witness interviews and may conduct initial interviews in some cases.
Required qualifications include an Associate degree and, preferably, a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program, along with at least four years of paralegal experience. Candidates should possess strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and analytical problem-solving skills. The position may also involve transactional work and environmental or regulatory issues. The role typically requires frequent sitting and occasional bending and stooping.
