Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Design Engineer with expertise in high- speed digital and analog circuit design. Experience in medical device is a plus. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for developing, prototyping and testing innovative hardware solutions across various platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers, to develop cutting-edge hardware solutions that meet the performance, reliability, and cost requirements of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hardware Design, Prototyping and Testing:

  • Design high-speed digital and analog circuits tailored for multiple hardware applications, with a focus on medical devices.
  • Requirement and test documents preparation
  • Schematic design and BOM development
  • Develop PCB layouts and review them for high-speed performance.
  • DFx support for PCBA manufacturing process
  • Prototype and test circuits using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other lab instruments.
  • Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues
  • The transfer of designs from development to production, ensuring all documentation and revisions are complete.

2. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Collaborate with firmware, system, and mechanical engineers to ensure end-to-end functionality of designs.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to improving design methodologies and processes.

3. Documentation and Compliance:

  • Develop detailed design specifications, schematics, BOM (Bill of Materials), and PCB layout guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IPC).
  • Maintain and update documentation for design revisions and new product developments.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 12+ years of experience in Hardware design and development.

Proficiency in Board design and testing.

Hands-on experience with signal integrity, power integrity, and timing analysis.

Good experience to manage the task to complete independently.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, HFSS).

Strong analytical and debugging skills

Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
