PCB Design Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop PCB layouts for complex electronic systems, ensuring optimal performance, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop and refine schematic designs and component selection.
- Use industry-standard PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence, Eagle, or similar) to create and optimize designs.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including design schematics, layout files, and BOM (bill of materials).
- Work closely with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure the manufacturability of the PCB designs, including selecting appropriate materials and technologies.
- Perform signal integrity analysis and impedance matching to ensure high-speed designs meet performance requirements.
- ssist in the development of assembly processes and participate in failure analysis of PCB-related issues.
- Stay up to date with new PCB technologies, design tools, and industry trends to incorporate best practices into designs.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in PCB design, including high-speed digital and analog circuit designs.
- Proficiency with PCB design software such as Altium Designer, Cadence, Eagle, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Knowledge of signal integrity, impedance control, and thermal management techniques.
- Experience with creating and maintaining detailed documentation (e.g., schematics, layout files, BOM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing issues.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Experience with FPGA-based designs or power electronics.
