Job Description
Position Summary:
This position is a paid internship for the summer of 2025. The internship will be based in our Hebron, IL plant and will report directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. The primary deliverables are to support validation efforts associated with new manufacturing equipment as well as engineering projects for capacity improvement in the high growth Filtration and Infusion segments.

Job Description
Position Summary:

The primary deliverables are to support validation efforts associated with new manufacturing equipment as well as engineering projects for capacity improvement in the high growth Filtration and Infusion segments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the MRD visual management process and implement kanban system.
- Drive improvements in manufacturing processes through 6S projects.
- Conduct analysis of manufacturing processes for our Millipore and Check Valve products to identify opportunities for scrap reduction.
- Conduct analysis of manufacturing processes for our Millipore products to identify opportunities for downtime improvements.
- Implement visual management on new Check Valve cell.
- Assist in new product development and modifications and revisions to existing products as needed.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Student (3rd or 4th year)
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with PLC programming and/or AutoCAD is a plus
- Self-motivated with a high attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and project management abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
