Compensation: $22-$32/hour (based on related work experience) plus commission.

Job Overview We are expanding our top-of-the-line product and service offerings to include residential electrical services and Generac home generator installation. To support this expansion, we are hiring a full-time Residential Electrician to install Generac Power Systems, trouble shoot and resolve electrical issues in customers' homes, and assist the HVAC and Plumbing departments with various electrical projects. Candidates must have experience as a Residential Electrician as well as being customer service-oriented individuals with great communication skills. Experience installing Generac Power Systems would be a plus, but it is not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential properties, including wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, and appliances.
  • Maintain work vehicle and inventory.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Install new electrical wiring and equipment during remodeling projects.
  • Conduct electrical inspections to assess the condition of existing systems, identify any issues or malfunctions, and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems, diagnose the root cause, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their electrical needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Advise clients on electrical system upgrades, energy-efficient solutions, and electrical safety practices.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry advancements, electrical codes, and best practices in residential electrical work
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Work in a safe and effective manner.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Residential Electrical Technician or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of residential electrical systems, wiring, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Customer service skills required.
