**Job Title: Electrician (2nd Shift)**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled 2nd shift Electrician responsible for LOTO, reading/interpreting tape measures, blueprints, schematics, using voltmeter, running conduit, pulling wire, running power, wiring up control panels, pull distribution, running network cables, servicing, diagnosing, troubleshooting AC/DC motors, and drives up to 480v 3-phase. The candidate must understand how PLCs work, read ladder logic, check inputs/outputs, and be familiar with the NEC (National Electric Code). The role may also require modifying or creating blueprints on occasion. Equipment includes band saws, cut-off saws, horizontal contour cutters, laser cutters, up to 20-ton presses, slitters, 400HP grinders, glue machines, rollers, conveyors, ABB/Fanuc/Motoman Robots, hydraulics, pneumatics, up to 400 HP motors, bearings, fans, breakers, fuses, sensors, HMIs, and Allen Bradley/Siemens PLCs.

**Hard Skills**

+ Electrical Troubleshooting up to 480v 3-phase

+ Reading/interpreting tape measures, blueprints, schematics

+ Using voltmeter

+ Running conduit, pulling wire, running power

+ Wiring up control panels, pull distribution

+ Running network cables

+ Servicing, diagnosing, troubleshooting AC/DC motors and drives

+ Understanding PLCs, reading ladder logic, checking inputs/outputs

+ Familiarity with NEC (National Electric Code)

**Job Type**

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 16 Week(s).

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Elkhart, Indiana.

**Work Environment**

Clean, organized, bright environment with machinery/piping/ceilings all painted white. There is a chemical smell in one specific area of the plant where ingredients are mixed to make foam.
