JOB TITLE:
Office Associate - Health Sciences Advising
JOB PURPOSE:
Provide frontline support and customer service for college advising center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Serve as a professional and welcoming first contact for students, families, and professional school recruiters.
•Maintain accurate and up to date records in student information systems.
•Maintain, format, and update website content and newsletters
•Respond to routine inquiries and route other inquiries in an accurate and timely fashion via multiple email accounts and phone contacts.
•Schedule recruiting visits, professional school events, and student appointments for multiple advisors.
•Support advisors and academic units in course overrides, class scheduling, catalog updates, course action forms, and student enrollment processes.
•Assist with residency certification for professional school access programs.
•Assist with annual contract offers and tracking for WICHE PSEP and WYDENT health education programs.
•Maintain office area including information racks and bulletin boards.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 2 years progressively responsible work-related experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with social media, databases, and office software.
