Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Journeyman Ironworker to join our team. Offering competitive pay and benefits. The successful candidate will be based in Arizona and will be responsible for various ironwork tasks on our construction sites, ensuring all work is completed in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner.

Responsibilities
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and project specifications to understand and plan job requirements.
  • Cutting, welding, and assembling iron and steel girders, columns, and other building materials to form bridges, buildings, and other structures.
  • Ensuring all ironwork is completed in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner, adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Inspecting and testing installed ironwork, structures, and materials to ensure they meet project specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with the team and other construction professionals, including engineers and architects, to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and safe to use.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Journeyman Ironworker, with a portfolio of completed projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of iron and steel erection and construction, with an understanding of the properties and uses of different types of metal.
  • Proficient in welding and other ironwork techniques, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches, with strong problem-solving skills to overcome any challenges that arise during construction.
  • Strong physical condition and endurance, with the ability to work at heights, lift heavy objects, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Valid certification or license may be required, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.


Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
