A leading scaffolding services provider to the global industrial, commercial, and infrastructure markets is looking for an entry to mid-level Structural Engineer to add to their team in Houston, TX. The Structural Engineer will be part of a small dynamic team and play a crucial role in delivering access and scaffolding systems, forming and shoring, industrial services, and related solutions to customers worldwide. As a Structural Engineer , you will design scaffolding and hoist elevators for high-profile projects such as historical structures, professional sports venues, large infrastructure projects, and space exploration affiliates. You will use AutoCAD 3D and Revit for design work, performing a 50/50 split of analysis and drafting, with 75% hand calculations and 25% Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using software like STAAD, RISA, and SCIA. You will manage project files using SolidWorks PDM and soon AutoDesk Vault, and directly interact with customers to manage engineering aspects of projects.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors in Civil Engineering, or anther discipline with heavy structural analysis courseload
Minimum 3 years of engineering experience
Eligible for PE license within 6 months (usually FE exam completed/ EIT). Company will pay for the license
Proficiency in Revit
Strong analytical and drafting skills
Experience with FEA software (STAAD, RISA, SCIA)
Ability to communicate and engage with customers to manage engineering aspects of projects
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Scaffolding system
Familiarity with PDM tools, particularly SolidWorks PDM and AutoDesk Vault
Experience with PDM transitions
