Job Description

Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a “Retail Pharmacist” position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Mauston, WI 53948. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Mauston, WI 53948
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40hrs./week
Shift Information: FT Monday - Friday: shifts vary, 8am-6pm or 9am-7pm, every 3rd Saturday 8am-1pm

Responsibilities:

Compound and dispense prescribed medications
Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medications
Provide patients with pertinent drug information
Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage
Supervise and maintain records of all medications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS – Required qualifications to effectively perform job. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Professional Pharmacy degree required. Doctorate preferred.
Wisconsin Pharmacist license required or temporary Wisconsin Pharmacist license required while obtaining active Pharmacist license that must be obtained within 60 days of receiving temporary license.
Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Pharmacist license.
BLS certification required.
1+ years related work experience required.
