PRIDE Healthcare is hiring: Retail Pharmacist in Mauston

Pride Health is hiring a Retail Pharmacist to support our client’s medical facility in Mauston, WI. This is a contractual opportunity with the possibility of an extension, and it is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!  

Job Duties:

• Proficient in pharmacy practice including but not limited to the following areas: Retail dispensing & Home health aides
• Performs other related prescription activities such as taking verbal prescriptions, filling of prescriptions, dispensing and verbal consultation.
• Performs and/or supervises pharmaceutical compounding activities.
• Provides clinical pharmacy services, including medical history collection, therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacokinetic dosing consultations, drug information and education.
• Participates in and follows departmental quality control and quality assurance program standards.
• Oversees inventory control activities such as monitoring inventory levels, ordering, receiving, stocking, and shipping.
• Supervises pharmacy interns and technicians.
• Willingly follows and supports all policies and procedures required under Medicare Accreditation.
• Input and process prescriptions.

Job Requirements:

1. Professional Pharmacy degree required. Doctorate preferred.
2. Wisconsin Pharmacist license required or temporary Wisconsin Pharmacist license required while obtaining active Pharmacist license that must be obtained within 60 days of receiving temporary license.
3. Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Pharmacist license.
4. BLS certification required.
5. 1+ years related work experience required.
6. Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates – 60 mile radius restriction)

Shifts: Day Shift
Weekly Gross Range: $2600 - $2700
