The Associate Director, Project Management is a strategic position overseeing a business unit consisting of one or more brands and two or more project managers. As an Associate Director, Project Management, you are able to switch seamlessly from day‐to‐day management of projects to high‐level oversight of your brand, your brand team, and your PM team. You're as comfortable in the details as you are in the big picture. You can anticipate problems before they occur and can propose creative solutions to mitigate risk and get things back on track. You understand that working smart is better than working hard. This is a hybrid role reporting to the Group Director, Project Management out of our San Francisco, CA office. You will:

Brand

Oversee one or more brands and accountable for all projects executed Work as a true partner to the account team to ensure execution of client deliverables Develop and maintain brand‐level planning (Gantts, etc.) Report brand changes to the PM leadership Oversee submissions, reviews processes, and recommend adjustments to ensure the quality of submissions Manage complex, multi‐team projects for brands overseen Delegate tasks and projects to the PM team Prioritize brand work during critical periods for both the PM and internal teams Serve as a point of contact for the client in close partnership with the account team as the interface between client and agency for all project plans, budgets, and revisions Finance

Develop and maintain annual SOWs, change orders Develop and work with the PM team to develop solutions to mitigate risk Be responsible for the brand finances, including oversight of project estimate creation, monthly forecasting, weekly budget tracking, client reconciliations, reviewing all documentation generated by the PM team ahead of sharing with account/greater internal team/client Work with the account team to develop gut checks for weekly Dash meetings Strategy

Have an awareness of resources assigned across brands managed and escalate concerns with resourcing to department leads Identify opportunities to adjust process for efficiencies both internally and externally Lead cross‐team sunset meetings Be able to onboard clients to agency process, talk about risk identification, and mitigation Participate in new business efforts; can present workflow, process, pricing, etc., in new business pitches Team Management

Oversee 2‐5 project managers assigned to brand, and responsible for their career development Be an escalation point for the PM team, both escalating PM concerns and addressing concerns related to the PM team Assess team skills, provide training and mentoring Monitor team utilization and assists with rebalancing workloads as needed Address any issues related to poor performance, including preparation and execution of performance improvement plans Be responsible for onboarding and training new PM team members Interview new PM team members and cross‐functional team members Assist in onboarding and training new PM team members Agency

Support agency culture, directives, and collaborates with PMO and agency leadership Support the PM department by leading and contributing to initiatives to improve process and workflows Contribute to new business efforts Support the PM department by contributing to initiatives to improve process and workflows Learn, educate, and promote emerging technologies when planning client tactics You will bring:
