Amazon
Sr. Program Manager, SPT Governance
Amazon, Seattle, Washington, us, 98127
Job ID: 2840798 | Amazon.com Services LLC
As we strive to be earth's most customer-centric company, Amazon has reinvented how hundreds of millions of people shop online – providing customers with the opportunity to find and discover virtually anything they want to buy and providing millions of sellers with a platform for growing successful businesses.
We are looking for an exceptional Program leader to help us develop new ways to build trust and loyalty with sellers, who represent more than half of all products sold on Amazon. Millions of sellers around the globe have built their businesses on Amazon, and in this role, you will be charged with building programs and products that ensure Amazon remains the best place for them to sell online.
In this role, you will define the strategy and execution plans to programmatically scale high visibility and complex tax and/or trade compliance programs, in partnership with Business and Policy leaders, to protect Sellers and Customers. You will influence cross VP organizations to (1) define the Seller Experience (SX) and engagement programs to increase compliance, (2) shape the risk appetite for executive leadership, (3) design and audit the seller enforcement strategy to ensure business continuity for Amazon and Sellers. The ideal candidate is motivated and agile, with strong project management skills and excellent stakeholder management and communication.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter and is comfortable conceptualizing and leading complex initiatives from end to end. You should have proven experience in strategy, large-scale execution, entrepreneurial innovation, and working cross functionally with operations and engineering teams. This role requires comfort in ambiguous situations and maintaining a high bar in a dynamic environment. Candidate should be able to influence and gain buy-in from tech, and policy stakeholders, and seamlessly deliver in an ambiguous environment. Problem-solving, cross-team coordination, program management, executive communication, and organizational skills are essential to be successful in this role. From Day 1, Program Managers at Amazon are given ownership of large products; the autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions; and the ability to drive significant impact to the customer experience and the business.
