WHO we're looking for:
We are looking for a Sr. Manager - HR Strategy who will be responsible for analyzing external and internal business environment along with current business status to strategically identify critical issues and develop responsive strategies to set the course of action. You will develop action plans to strengthen competitiveness based on assessment of internal competencies and processes. You will be responsible for supporting both Corporate and HR Strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying opportunities, and implementing initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and support long-term growth strategy.
Role and Responsibilities:
Support Corporate Strategy: Conduct market analysis, competitive bench-marking, macroeconomic forecasting, and TAM analysis to inform high-impact decision-making and support business objectives. Drive HR Strategy: Collaborate with HR Leaders to design, develop, and implement initiatives that align People Team strategies with business goals, fostering a high-performance culture. Project Management: Contribute to projects of strategic importance. Project can include those involving the use of internal staff and/or outside consultants. Identify and Implement Operational Efficiencies: Analyze existing processes/ways of working within People Team to identify inefficiencies and implement streamlined solutions to improve productivity. Required Experience and Education:
5+ years of work experience. Bachelor's degree is required for this position - graduate level degree (i.e., MA, MBA, etc.) preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office is required with an emphasis on quantitative analysis (Excel) and the creation of presentations (PowerPoint). Prior consulting experience (internal or external) is a strong plus. (Preferred) Background in corporate strategy, strategic planning, consulting, and/or business development. (Preferred) Knowledge of one or more consumer goods industries, preferably in consumer electronics. Necessary Skills and Attributes:
Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment. Detail-oriented with strong organization skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion. Strong collaboration and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively across all cultures and levels within the business. Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
