As they continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Finance to lead the financial strategy and operations. This critical role will focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), system implementations, and driving overall process improvement to position them for sustained growth and success.
Position Summary
:
This is a very hands-on role that will see the Vice President of Finance partnering with Senior Leadership, overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations and providing strategic leadership to support business goals. The ideal candidate has a CPA and a proven track record in companies that specialize in the manufacturing of products or materials.
Key Responsibilities
:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with business goals. Provide financial insights to the executive team, board of directors, and key stakeholders. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration processes for acquisitions. Identify and assess potential acquisition targets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless post-acquisition integration. System Implementation & Optimization:
Oversee the implementation and optimization of ERP and other financial systems. Drive technology adoption to enhance data accuracy, reporting capabilities, and decision-making. Identify opportunities for automation and process efficiencies. Process Improvement:
Evaluate and improve financial processes, internal controls, and operational workflows. Develop and implement best practices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Partner with operations teams to align financial goals with manufacturing processes. Financial Oversight:
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver actionable insights to improve financial performance. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other relevant standards. Qualifications & Experience:
10+ years of progressive financial leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role within the manufacturing industry. Proven experience leading M&A activities, including due diligence, valuations, and integration. Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). CPA Blended experience with large ($500M+) and small ($20M) organizations Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, MBA preferred Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams. Expertise in financial modeling, strategic planning, and process improvement methodologies.
