The Ideal Candidate lives full time in New Mexico and can travel on site for meetings when requested. Summary Provides day-to-day technical support services, locally or remotely, to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware. Installs, configures, and troubleshoots desktop, or mobile systems, workstations, and network issues in a heterogeneous environment. Tests and evaluates commercial and Laboratory developed software for quality control and proper operation. Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel. Recommends hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades. Education Position typically requires a high school diploma and a minimum one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This person must navigate the software Admin Portal for our Service Now AskSecurity website. The Ideal candidate will be at least a High School Graduate with moderate to advanced technical skills including admin and customer service experience. This person will have experience collaborating with multiple teams. This person will have a positive attitude and demonstrate patience during a lengthy project. The Ideal Candidate lives full time in New Mexico and can travel on site for meetings when requested. This person will be the main contact for everything AskSecurity: fielding questions; enabling SMEs; facilitating online/in person training; ensuring project completion. This person is responsible for fielding/hosting focus groups for agent training in Service Now (experience in Microsoft Teams, Outlook Calendar, on-line SharePoint-like portal) This person will be utilizing AccessIT for agent Approvals in Oracle (requires A Level access). This person will have prior knowledge/some experience in implementing a new software and assisting the developers in the going live process. This can include anything from assisting with demos and being the main point of contact if anything is not properly functioning. This person will be comfortable in managing the admin portal in Service Now which can change on a day-to-day basis, depending on customers needs and requests.
