Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Operational Analytics to lead and support our data analytics initiatives across various clinical and operational departments. This individual will play a pivotal role in providing a business relationship management approach fostering strong relationships with both internal stakeholders-including acute care physicians, nurses, operational executives, front-line staff-and key departments such as the Emergency Department (ED), Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Perioperative and OR Services, Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Inpatient Nursing.
In this role, the Director will be responsible for understanding the analytical needs of these diverse teams, translating these requirements into actionable projects for the Data Analytics team, and ensuring that analytics products align with department priorities. This includes gathering and defining data requirements, working closely with stakeholders to communicate and prioritize needs, and ensuring that analytic solutions are both relevant and impactful.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex data analysis results to non-technical stakeholders. They will also be adept at translating the capabilities of the Data Analytics team to meet the operational needs of the departments they serve. In addition, they will create, update, and maintain a meaningful roadmap of analytics products that support the organization's goals, driving operational efficiency, improved patient care, and overall business performance.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of 7 years experience in health care operations related field serving in progressively growing Analyst positions preferred. Comparable analytical experience from other industries may be considered. Knowledge of and experience in using data to identify trends and impact process improvements. Previous experience using Lean, Six Sigma, or related mode for improvements.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Nursing or Healthcare related field is required. Masters Degree is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Strong business acumen. Effective communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.
