Robotic Welding Programmer

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Robotics Welding Programmer to configure, operate, and monitor the performance of automated welding systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of robotic welding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, operate, and tend robotic welding equipment to assemble metal components.
• Load, assemble, and position metal parts using weld fixtures.
• Input operating parameters into computer systems to initiate production.
• Inspect welded components for quality and accuracy; perform repairs as needed.
• Make real-time adjustments and troubleshoot issues to maintain smooth operations.
• Follow blueprint specifications and quality standards for all work.
• Use hand tools, including hammers, welding equipment, cutting torches, calipers, and micrometers.
• Employ computer software for documentation and offline programming.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with IGM welding robots and applied metal structures.
• Training in metal fabrication or related fields preferred.
• Proficient in welding techniques, with knowledge of basic metallurgy.
• Experience with off-line programming and robotic programming is a plus.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of welding processes, particularly manual MIG/MAG welding.
• Ability to utilize various mechanical and hand tools effectively.
• Experience in quality inspection, particularly visual assessments.
• Proficient in interpreting work instructions, specification sheets, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
