Job Description
Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand forecasts and delivery timelines. Monitor production KPIs (key performance indicators), ensuring targets for quality, efficiency, and output are achieved. Coordinate with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure raw materials are available for production. Supervise, train, and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve team productivity. Ensure all products meet regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GMP) and company quality specifications. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes. Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing costs. Lead initiatives for process automation and technology adoption. Enforce compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies. Conduct routine safety audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly. Work closely with R&D, marketing, and logistics teams to align production capabilities with product development and launches. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the personal care or cosmetics industry. Strong background in GMP, HACCP, or other relevant compliance frameworks. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in production management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. What's on Offer
