Job Summary Description:

In a market that is increasingly adopting trenchless solutions for its time, cost and environmental efficiencies, we are looking for motivated and experienced individual seeking opportunity and career growth in an entrepreneurial team environment.

Located in Hyattsville, MD, the Business Development Manager will seek and establish business opportunities to obtain service contracts and bid opportunities with municipal, industrial and commercial clientele.

Essential Job Accountabilities: Execution of annual sales plans to support Business Unit revenue and profit objectives. Regular communication with Estimating & Operations Teams to ensure alignment of objectives. Develop municipal markets. Support the public bid process. Use tracking services as well as relationships with municipalities, engineering firms, GCs and subcontractors to identify bid opportunities we can pursue. Identify strategic relationships: subs, partners & GCs. Procure market intel to understand market & client landscape. Support Job Walks, Prebids & Bid Openings Visibility to future work through market research as well as relationships with municipalities, engineering firms, GCs and subcontractors Write specifications into new markets through municipal & engineering relationships. Maintain existing relationships with key accounts. Maintain CRM to reflect all bid and proposal activity in your region. Supporting the marketing initiative by conducting:

Presentations and 'lunch & learns' Industry associations Industry trade shows

Education/Qualifications:

3 to 5 years of experience in one or all of the following:

Environmental Services Utility Construction Civil Engineering

Additional Requirements/Skills:

Strong communicator Self-motivated Problem Solver Comfortable with presenting in front of groups Ability and willingness to travel. Benefits:
