About The Role
We are seeking a General Manager to build this business and take ownership of the P&L for our early-stage IOP therapy platform. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of launching and scaling businesses from the ground up. This role requires a dynamic individual who can drive business strategy, oversee operations, and lead a cross-functional team in sales, operations, marketing, recruiting, and product management. As the GM, you will be responsible for overall business performance, ensuring the successful execution of strategies and achieving key financial and operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement strategic plans to drive growth and operational excellence within the IOP business line.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high-quality standards.
- Build and optimize both the supply and demand sides of the business to expand reach and impact.
- Manage budget and financial performance, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance service visibility and attract new clients.
- Forge and nurture relationships with referral sources, stakeholders, and partners to support business objectives.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics and strategic progress.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with a combination of consulting, banking, and early-stage startups. Experience within healthcare is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and growing new business units, with a strong focus on behavioral health and healthcare-related marketplaces.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a cross-functional team.
- Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities, with a focus on driving business success.
- Exceptional financial management skills, including experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- A strong passion for mental health care and a commitment to providing high-quality services.
- P&L ownership experience in a high-growth startup is highly preferred.
- Ability to work in-person out of our San Francisco-based office 5 days/week.
Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $200,000 - $220,000 plus additional bonuses. Total compensation for this position may also include stock options. Note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.
