Job Details:
Do you have particular interest/experience in insurance law? We are currently seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and experienced Attorney to join our Insurance Defense team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your expertise will be valued and your contributions will make a significant impact.
You will be responsible for representing our clients in all aspects of insurance defense litigation. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Managing a caseload of complex insurance defense matters, from inception through trial/resolution.
- Conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and advising clients on legal transactions.
- Representing clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
- Communicating with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.
- Performing legal research to ascertain the facts of a case.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
- Upholding the standards, values, and integrity of the firm at all times.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the CA Bar.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense/self-insured/insurance law.
- Proficient knowledge of insurance law and legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
