Job Details:

Do you have particular interest/experience in insurance law? We are currently seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and experienced Attorney to join our Insurance Defense team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your expertise will be valued and your contributions will make a significant impact.

You will be responsible for representing our clients in all aspects of insurance defense litigation. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Managing a caseload of complex insurance defense matters, from inception through trial/resolution.
  2. Conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and advising clients on legal transactions.
  3. Representing clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
  4. Communicating with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.
  5. Performing legal research to ascertain the facts of a case.
  6. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
  7. Upholding the standards, values, and integrity of the firm at all times.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the CA Bar.
  3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense/self-insured/insurance law.
  4. Proficient knowledge of insurance law and legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations.
  5. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
