Summary of Job (brief description)
The Senior Manager / Associate Director, Marketing role at Soleno requires a passionate, collaborative, analytical, and detail-oriented individual who will support various educational and marketing initiatives across HCP and patient audiences. This role will lead tactical execution across unbranded and branded marketing initiatives. The Senior Manager / Associate Director will build highly collaborative working relationships with the broader marketing team and other cross-functional stakeholders across commercial, medical, operations, and CMC. Externally, the Senior Manager / Associate Director will work closely with the AOR and other various partners to successfully lead strategy and tactical plan execution to ensure seamless access through launch. This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead critical elements of the HCP and patient brand strategy as assigned.
- Provide strategic input and lead tactical execution of unbranded disease state education needs for PWS across HCP and patient audiences.
- Lead successful development and execution of branded and unbranded speaker bureau for both HCPs and Caregivers, including content creation, speaker selection, and training.
- Lead and facilitate advisory boards with HCPs to ensure strategies and tactics meet the needs of customers
- Support annual brand planning process.
- Drive review of key marketing materials through the promotional review committee (PRC) review and approval process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners on market research needs and leverages multiple data sources including but not limited to advisory boards, field force inputs, and industry reports to uncover emerging needs, opportunities, and innovative approaches to educate customers.
- Partner and leverage caregiver and advocacy feedback in development of patient services materials.
- Ensure effective role out of marketing campaigns and assets to the field team in close cooperation with the sales management & trainers.
- Leverage data and analytics to identify KPIs, track performance of initiatives, and optimize strategy.
- Effectively manage agency partners to produce deliverables within timelines and budgets.
- Manage marketing budget closely and ensure expenditure is aligned with the brand strategy and tactical plans.
- Creates a culture where patients and customers are at the center of thinking and operations.

- Ability to thrive in a start-up environment and prepared to assume roles and responsibilities outside of traditional job functions .
- Experience in rare disease HCP or Patient marketing.
- Outstanding business acumen, leadership, business case development, budget management skills, and demonstrated ability to drive business results.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree, MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of increasing experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry with focus in marketing for rare/orphan and specialty products.
- Prior relevant therapeutic area experience with endocrinology preferred.
- Product launch and pre-approval commercialization experience preferred.
- Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment.
- Home office-based role with ability to travel up to 20%.
Salary Range: $170,000 - $220,000
