USL Spokane Team Operations Internship 24/25 School Year
USL Spokane (Spokane Zephyr FC & Spokane Velocity FC) is looking for multiple FOR CREDIT ONLY interns in the 2025 Season (unpaid). Candidates must be current college students or entering their junior/senior year and be able to dedicate 20 hours per week to the internship, with flexible scheduling around their academic commitments. Interns must be available to intern in person during the entire internship in Spokane, WA. At USL Spokane, we know the importance and impact an internship can have academically and in future career opportunities. Within our organization, there are multiple fields and areas in which students can gain real work experience to grow their understanding of their field of study.
Team Operation Interns will train cross-functionally around the following duties:
All interns must complete a background check and sign a Confidentiality Agreement for USL Spokane properties.
Commitment Windows: Interns must commit to a minimum 6-9 month window. With a dedicated 20 hours a week.

- Visiting team liaison
- Referee liaison
- Team admin
- Gameday production
- Red hat
- Equipment Assistant
- Ball Kid Supervisor

Commitment Windows: Interns must commit to a minimum 6-9 month window. With a dedicated 20 hours a week.
Game Operations & Office:
- Interns must attend every Spokane Zephyr FC & Spokane Velocity FC home game within their commitment window + additional pre-game meeting office hours (unless pre-approved absence).
- Interns should be motivated to represent the USL Spokane brand.
- Interns will attend pre-game prep meetings & have limited office hours.
- Interns may have additional opportunities to assist in USL Spokane community events.
- All majors related or unrelated to Sports, Production, Sales, and Communications are welcome to apply.
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to stay organized, work independently, multi-task, and handle a variety of projects.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
