Senior Data Scientist - Healthcare, Behavioral Health or Finance environments

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY REMOTE ROLES – MUST BE WITHIN COMMUTING DISTANCE TO PASADENA, CA ONLY NO OUT OF STATE CANDIDATES PLEASE Hello We are seeking highly experienced Senior Clinical Data Scientists from Healthcare, Behavioral Health or Finance environments. Must have 10 years of experience as a Data Scientist with advanced analytics, machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, EPIC Clarity and medical claims data experience. Must have experience with R, Python, SQL, Epic, Clarity, Oracle Exadata, SSIS, Azure, Tableau and Power BI. Must have knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, etc. Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SLQ, etc. Experience using data from electronic health records (EPIC Clarity), familiarity with medical claims and medical coding (CPT, HCPCS, ICD10 PCS), CMS and other Federal and state healthcare data repositories (DMHC, DHCAI, HCUP/AHRQ, etc. Must currently live within commuting distance to Pasadena, CA to be able to attend occasional onsite meetings Required Level of Education: Master's Degree required Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with federal and state healthcare data repositories (e.g., CMS, HCUP, DMHC). Certifications in EPIC Clarity, Azure, or Tableau. Pay Rate: $77/hr on w2 Duration: 12months with potential for extension or conversion to FTE.
