BGS is hiring a Building Technologies Office Program Analyst to support the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) in program logistics and project management activities including Funding Opportunity Announcements and support for competitively selected cooperative agreements. Support involves day to day interactions with internal parties such as legal, contracting, National Environmental Policy Act, and communications, as well as external communication with project recipients in academia, private industry, and National Laboratories. Position will provide crosscutting support to technical program offices.
The position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks to meet congressionally mandated deadlines. May also assist in data development, analysis, and presentation for ad hoc and ongoing requests. Data analysis and report development skills using Excel, MS Access, Visual Basic Application, and/or Python is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Development, Coordination, and logistics of competitive solicitations, lab calls, and merit reviews/reviewers, includes:
- Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA).
- Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs).
- Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR).
- Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR).
- Technology Commercialization Fund (TCF).
- Preparation of award packages.
- Assistance in project management, performance monitoring, documentation, and progress assessment for DOE funded projects.
- Data analysis, and development of briefing materials and presentations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 3+ years' experience.
- Project management experience.
- Professional attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to balance multiple long- and short-term projects and competing priorities.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Must be U.S. citizen.
- Successful drug screening.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with reviewer management system.
- Ability to actively track and monitor government-funded research and development projects.
- Experience working within DOE EERE.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter, an ability to work both independently and as part of a highly dynamic collaborative team.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Location/Work Arrangement:
- This position is located at Golden, CO. and is a Hybrid Work Arrangement.

Starting compensation for this role typically salary ranges between $75,000 and $115,000 annually is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
