BGS is hiring a Program Analyst to support the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). This position will work within the Vehicle Technologies Office (VTO), which supports Research, Development, Demonstration, and Deployment (RDD&D) of new, efficient, and innovative mobility options that are affordable for all Americans. The successful candidate for this position will provide high quality customer service focused work. They will be attentive to client needs and proactive in anticipating needs and identifying and filling gaps in support. They should be able to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and be able to respond quickly to short turnaround requests. The ideal candidate is an organized multi-tasker with good interpersonal skills who has technical experience with vehicle technologies, electric vehicles, and/or vehicle-to-grid integration. Responsibilities:
Project coordination for VTO's government-industry partnerships and VTO's RDD&D portfolio. Engage with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate relevant project and program information. Prepare and manage meeting agendas, minutes, action items, presentation materials, and other materials for in-person and/or virtual stakeholder or client meetings. Support execution of in-person or virtual meetings and participate in workshops or meetings, conferences, or other events. Develop, review, and edit technical communication materials including technical reports, annual reports, PowerPoint presentations, meeting minutes, action items, and newsletters. Develop stakeholder outreach materials and other resources for internal and external audiences. Support annual merit review of vehicle research projects for effective and timely project management. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in technical field and 5+ years' experience in working in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to synthesize and communicate programmatic information to various stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with many different stakeholders. Ability to complete tasks independently, but also in a collaborative team. Experience and comfort in preparing and giving presentations. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions, U.S. Citizen. Ability to balance multiple long- and short-term projects and competing priorities. Successful drug screening. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge. Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge or experience with vehicle technologies, electric vehicles, vehicle-to-grid integration, and/or mobility systems. Location/Work Arrangement:
