We are seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to lead our organization's comprehensive security program and oversee our classified information systems infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to security management, combining expertise in personnel security, cybersecurity, and compliance with classified contract requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as an FSO or Deputy FSO
- Ability to obtain and maintain higher clearances
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
- Current FSO certification from DCSA Center for Development of Security Excellence
- Master's degree preferred in related field
- US Citizen
Technical Expertise Required:
- Advanced proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper–V)
- Experience with classified information systems on both Windows and Linux platforms
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing methodologies
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and security monitoring solutions
- Knowledge of cloud security architecture (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices
Key Responsibilities: Security Program Leadership
- Develop and manage annual security budget
- Drive strategic security initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Lead a team of security professionals and coordinate with cross–functional teams
- Maintain facility clearance and oversee all aspects of classified contracts
- Serve as the primary liaison with DCSA, Intelligence Community agencies, and other government entities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain Security Management Plans
- Ensure compliance with NISPOM, CMMC, and relevant federal security requirements
- Maintain current knowledge of evolving security regulations and requirements
- Manage insider threat program in accordance with NISPOM requirements
- Oversee security audits and inspections
- Coordinate with HR on security aspects of hiring and termination processes
- Develop and conduct sophisticated security education programs
- Implement continuous evaluation programs
- Manage Special Access Programs (SAP) when applicable
- Oversee personnel security clearance processing and maintenance
- Direct cyber threat intelligence programs
- Direct the implementation of classified information systems
- Implement Zero Trust Architecture principles
- Manage Configuration Management programs
- Oversee Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes
- Oversee security incident response and recovery procedures
- Proficiency in:
- Access control systems (PACS)
- Classified network architecture and security
- Incident response platforms
- PKI and encryption technologies
- Security automation tools
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems
- CISSP
- FSO Certification
- One or more of the following preferred:
- CASP+
- CCSP
- CEH
- CISM
- CompTIA Security+

Additional Requirements
- Must live locally or relocate to Minneapolis area within 90 days of hire
- Available for domestic travel, as needed

- Ability to obtain and maintain special access programs (SAP) clearances
