- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Organizes parts and subassemblies for an efficient assembly process.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed components/products.
- Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; and notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of varied manufacturing experience in Mechanical Assembly
- Bend and lift, loading and unloading workpieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing
- Perform repetitive work more than 9 hours per day
- Ability to quickly learn new blueprints and perform all necessary measurements
- Hand/power tool skills (Drill, Adjustable Wrenches, Pliers, Hammers, screwdrivers, etc.)
