Position Summary:

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Head of Product to lead the development and execution of our payments product strategy. This role will help shape the product vision, work closely with the strategy team to ensure alignment, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of GoodLeap’s payment solutions, including mobile payments, digital wallets, and emerging fintech products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance GoodLeap’s position as a leader in the payments ecosystem.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and help shape product strategy and vision for payments, defining key value propositions, solution design, business requirements, and build/buy/partner strategies.
  2. Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and execution through cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Design teams.
  3. Help develop and prioritize product features based on market research, user feedback, and business goals, ensuring alignment with long-term growth objectives.
  4. Drive innovation by exploring new payment technologies and partnerships that enable frictionless transactions for contractors and homeowners.
  5. Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.
  6. Evangelize product strategy internally and externally, representing GoodLeap Payments in high-profile industry forums and partner discussions.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  1. 12+ years of product management experience, with 8+ years in payments or fintech.
  2. Proven track record of launching and scaling payment products.
  3. Deep understanding of payment systems, regulations (PCI, AML/KYC), and global payment trends.
  4. Leadership experience managing product teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Familiarity with payment regulations (PCI, AML/KYC) (Preferred).
  8. Previous experience with payment platforms like Stripe, Adyen, or PayPal (Preferred).

Compensation:

$260,000 - $280,000 a year. In addition to the above salary, this role may be eligible for a bonus and equity.
