We are seeking a Group Account Director to co-lead our client services team. This role is essential to building and maintaining strong client relationships and holds a leadership position within the agency, reporting into the President. This person will lead key pieces of client business, work on new business, and grow and mentor a talented group of account people.
As an agency with deep roots in sport, and multiple clients in this space, a passion for sport as a participant or fan is vital.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with another Group Account Director to co-lead the Account Management department.
- Own and run specific client relationships and lead our team with clear direction.
- Partner with the strategy team to hold up strategic objectives and business priorities and guide us to successful delivery for our partners.
- Partner with creative leaders and teams to drive world-class ideas that move our clients' business forward and continue to further our standing as a top creative agency.
- Develop and grow our global brand relationships, taking ultimate responsibility for the functioning of the systems, processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Assume ultimate financial responsibility for the account P&L’s, drive for efficiencies by managing the agency scope of work, and identify areas for organic growth.
- Partner with the production team to develop best-in-class productions, with our in-house studio to develop efficient models of production, and with our media division on integrated creative/media pieces of business.
- Work with President to develop our team, and work closely with Director of People for ongoing resource management by client.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bring 12+ years experience leading large scale global business.
- Be a strong leader, with the ability to calmly navigate and problem solve across a multi-functional group of agency partners and clients.
- Be comfortable with and experienced in managing high levels of complexity in terms of relationship and output.
- Know how to plan and execute significant productions with detailed deliverables.
- Passion for sport and culture is a must.
The salary range for this position is $175K-$200K. Exactly where a prospective employee will be paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, the candidate’s depth of experience and qualifications in relation to the job description and the actual job duties of the role. In addition to salary, we also offer comprehensive benefits (covering 100% medical, dental, vision and offer open PTO, and more). The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles to find the right candidate for Zambezi.
