As Senior Principal Product Manager for API and Extensibility, you will have full autonomy to fundamentally alter the prioritization of extensibility. This will unlock customer value through a more productive Atlassian, more innovative partner apps and enabling enterprise customizations. Reporting directly to our Head of Economy you will partner cross-functionally with product teams, partnership, ecosystem, platform and marketing to deliver on and drive the adoption of APIs and extensibility. Without extensibility our Ecosystem can’t function and without improvements to extensibility, our Ecosystem can’t innovate. The strategy and roadmap you own will affect not just our developer partners but Atlassian teams and enterprise customers. You will operate as an expert with deep experience working with executive leaders, and an ability to immediately contribute to complex, high-impact projects.
This is a remote position but to help our teams work together, this role requires you to be located in the PST time zone only.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, definition, and execution of the API and Extensibility strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Atlassian to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
- Define and set appropriate Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to drive organizational changes and meet strategic goals.
Requirements:
- 10 years in product management roles across B2B SaaS companies.
- Strong experience in API development and strategy implementation.
- Technical fluency to understand and deliver enterprise requirements and understand business impact of APIs.
- Experience developing a multi-year product strategy and roadmap, gaining buy-in to executive leadership, and rallying a cross-functional team.
- Background in building relationships and inspiring and mobilizing teams towards a common vision.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to set and drive OKRs effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with Atlassian product, marketplace and ecosystem.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $221,500 - $295,400
Zone B: $199,400 - $265,800
Zone C: $183,900 - $245,200
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
