Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly motivated Regional Managing Director (RMD) to oversee and drive the operational performance of our Power Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead the company's operations across North America and globally, reporting directly to the CEO.
The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in the T&D sector, with a proven track record of leadership, operational excellence, and strategic growth. As RMD, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, optimizing business processes, and driving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and profitability. This role demands a visionary leader capable of navigating complex challenges in a dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of T&D operations, including project execution, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to support long-term business growth, market expansion, and technological advancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, increase profitability, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Drive innovation and best practices across the business, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams while promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Establish and track key performance metrics to ensure successful execution of strategic goals.
The Successful Applicant
In return for a competitive remuneration package, the successful candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in transmission line engineering in North America.
- Strong understanding of the North American power grid network (market size, competition, market trends, etc.).
- Familiar with T&D customers, procurement processes, decision-making processes, key decision makers, project management, etc.
