Duties:

1. Provide expert legal advice on insurance coverage matters, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
2. Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on insurance and reinsurance issues.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate insurance policies, coverage agreements, and other legal documents.
4. Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes through litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
5. Develop and implement legal strategies to resolve complex insurance coverage and reinsurance issues.
6. Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and relevant case law impacting insurance and reinsurance.
7. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to manage insurance claims and resolve coverage disputes.
8. Prepare and present legal arguments, motions, and briefs before courts and arbitration panels.
9. Manage multiple insurance coverage matters efficiently, ensuring effective case management and resolution.

Requirements:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Bar in California.
3. 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
4. Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.
5. Proven ability to conduct thorough legal research and produce high-quality written work.
6. Experience in handling insurance coverage disputes and litigation.

Education:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

1. Admission to the Bar in California.
