Job Overview
A prestigious law firm located in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Litigation group. Duties
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide legal guidance.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Collaborate with expert witnesses and other stakeholders to develop case strategies.
- Assist in fact development and conduct depositions to gather pertinent information.
- Review and draft discovery responses, legal briefs, motions, and memoranda.
- Actively participate in case strategy development, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Maintain a strong focus on compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.
- Admitted to practice in Maryland.
- Strong academic credentials, including a JD and additional degrees such as MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology.
- Demonstrated experience in products liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
- A solid understanding of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries is essential.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Additional degrees (MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology) preferred.
Certifications
- Must be admitted to practice law in Maryland.
