About the Team
As a member of the Global Ops & Functions Talent Acquisition team, your role in Talent Acquisition profoundly impacts a mission-critical aspect of the organization's development. You will have a key role in supporting the growth and development of business leadership teams at TikTok in Global Legal and Americas Public Policy, as well as regional and TA professional. You will design tailored recruiting strategies to build a multidisciplinary, data-focused technical team from scratch, and closely collaborate with the business and recruiting leaders to implement various projects in order to reach recruiting goals. We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Global Talent Acquisition Lead to join our team and spearhead our talent acquisition efforts on a global scale.

As the Talent Acquisition Lead for Global Legal and Americas Public Policy, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent worldwide. You will work closely with senior leadership and HR partners to ensure alignment with our global business objectives and drive excellence in our recruitment practices. The ideal candidate is someone who is driven, hungry to learn, gets excited about taking on new challenges, and is a champion for diversity. This is a full-time position, hybrid in the office 3-days per week in our Los Angeles location.

What You'll Do:

  • Deeply understand hiring needs, and partner closely with business leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment with our global business objectives and drive excellence in recruitment plans.
  • Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent worldwide.
  • Be a player-coach and manage a portfolio of requisitions while managing our Americas talent acquisition partners.
  • Refine and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for talent acquisition, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Enhance SLAs, best practices and efficient hiring processes that align with the company's strategic goals and growth plans to improve processes and increase recruitment output.
  • Collaborate with the local HR operation teams to understand relevant HR compliance and labor laws, as well as oversee the recruitment lifecycle to ensure great candidate experience from attraction through onboarding.
  • Promote and integrate diversity and inclusion initiatives into the recruitment process to ensure a diverse talent pool and equitable hiring practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of global hiring experience ideally within the high-tech, media, or other related industries, and at least 2 years of people management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components, including direct sourcing, behavioral & motivation-based interviewing, employment laws, salary trends, and relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of global talent markets, employment laws, and recruitment best practices and demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic recruitment plans.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how recruitment and workforce planning impact the overall organization in a consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal communication and organizational skills; ability to build trust-based working relationships with candidates, cross-functional peers, and colleagues in the wider HR function.
  • High level of personal accountability, integrity, and authenticity; ideally you will be detail-oriented, passionate, and intellectually curious.
  • Proficient in using various sourcing techniques and tools, including LinkedIn and other tools to conduct solid mapping practice.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Experience leading diverse teams; international recruiting experience is preferred.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $148200 - $266760 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Our time off and leave plans are:
10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.
