Job Title: Business Analyst
Job Description
The Business Analyst will join our procurement team, working within Panjiva to perform data mining and create key market reports to support data-driven purchasing decisions. This role involves connecting Excel to our company's ERP system, analyzing data, and directing the IS team to create dashboards from scratch, ensuring accurate data usage. The Business Analyst will manage monthly costs, including budgets and inventory, and utilize Power BI for data-driven performance and forecasting. While primarily supporting Kalamazoo, there may be global reporting duties, requiring responses to market data inquiries from locations in Denver City, TX, England, and Singapore.
Responsibilities
The Business Analyst will report to the Procurement Risk Manager and collaborate with a team of about 10 others, primarily buyers. The position follows a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Employees receive 5 days of PTO and 6 standard holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27

Responsibilities
- Perform data mining and create key market reports to support procurement decisions.
- Connect Excel to the company's ERP system and analyze data.
- Direct the IS team in creating accurate dashboards from scratch.
- Manage monthly costs, including budgets and inventory.
- Utilize Power BI for data-driven performance and forecasting.
- Support procurement activities primarily in Kalamazoo, with potential global reporting duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Power BI for database building.
- SQL database experience.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Panjiva and Infor M3.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with supply chain software.
- Experience in the food and ingredients industry.
- Ability to formalize and define the new role within the company.
