Play a vital role in the recovery journey of clients undergoing detoxification by providing direct nursing care, conducting assessments, and offering emotional support. Key Qualifications
- Provide comfortable and compassionate care for clients as the first point of contact in our inpatient facility.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or registered nurses.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist with clients' examinations and diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate clients and their families on healthcare topics, such as disease prevention and management.
- Ensure clients' comfort and safety by maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Play an essential role in the recovery process of clients undergoing detoxification from substances, providing a blend of medical care and emotional support.
- Review medical history and information of new clients at the time of admission.
- Request prescribed detox medications from the pharmacy and refills as needed.
- Log in clients' own medications as well as newly prescribed medications and complete shift medication counts.
- Assess client stability and administer medications per protocol.
- Consult with the admissions team regarding the appropriate level of care for new clients.
- Refer clients to higher levels of medical or psychiatric treatment as needed.
- Complete Utilization Reviews for insurance clients.
- Review pharmacy orders and accounts for finance department reconciliation.
- Provide on-call consultation as needed.
- Coordinate client care with PM and weekend nurses.
- Reconcile abandoned medications and prepare for destruction.
- Cross-train to all nursing positions (including Clinic) to provide emergency coverage.
- Other duties as assigned.
At Janus, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $40.00 and $45.00 per hour and your base pay will be considered on your job-related skills, training, qualifications, experience, and relevant education.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- LVN license
- BLS Certification
- Experience in a clinical setting, knowledge of chemical dependency
- Working knowledge of applicable portions of Title 9 and Title 22
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate a highly optimized and specialized environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong ability to retain and contextualize information
- Proficiency in any of the following platforms is preferred: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Apple iWork, or LibreOffice.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based and standalone office suite applications.
- Strong understanding of electronic health record (eHR) systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to office suites.
- Bilingual (Preferred)
